The Cat Nanny - Cat Sitting Policies

At The Cat Nanny, I understand the importance of providing reliable and trustworthy cat sitting services for my clients and their beloved feline companions. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both cats and their owners, I have established the following cat sitting policies:

Booking and Payment

  • Clients are encouraged to book cat sitting services well in advance, especially during peak holiday seasons, to secure their preferred dates.

  • I require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for all new clients to allow me to conduct an introductory meeting, if necessary.

  • All bookings must be made in advance, and a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.

  • Full payment is due on the first day of the pet sitting service. Payment can be made via cash or electronic transfer.

Initial Consultation

  • Prior to the first cat sitting assignment, I conduct an in-person consultation to meet the cat(s), review their care routine, and collect necessary information on feeding, medication, and emergency contacts.

  • During the consultation, clients have the opportunity to provide specific instructions for their cat's care, as well as to address any questions or concerns.

Cat Care Guidelines

  • I strictly adhere to the feeding schedule, dietary restrictions, and any specific care instructions provided by the client.

  • I prioritize maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment for the cats, including regular litter box maintenance and basic grooming if required.

Communication and Updates

  • I can provide daily updates to clients, usually via text or email, to share how the cat(s) are doing and any noteworthy observations.

  • In case of any unexpected developments or concerns regarding the cat's well-being, I will promptly notify the client and seek further instructions.

Security and Access

  • Clients can trust that their home security and privacy are of utmost importance to me. I strictly follow access instructions and ensure that all doors and windows are properly secured upon each visit.

  • All keys and access codes provided by clients are securely stored and coded to maintain confidentiality and safety.

Emergency Procedures

  • In the event of a medical emergency or urgent situation involving the cat's health, I will immediately contact the client and, if necessary, seek veterinary care at the nearest trusted facility.

  • Clients are encouraged to provide updated contact information for themselves and an emergency contact person in case they cannot be reached.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • I understand that unexpected changes can occur. Clients can cancel or modify their cat sitting bookings with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. I will not charge a cancellation fee.

    Agreement

    By engaging The Cat Nanny's pet sitting services, the client agrees to the above terms and conditions.

    Please Note: The Cat Nanny may update these terms and conditions from time to time, and clients will be notified of any changes prior to their booking.
